Role Purpose
Thepurposeofthisroleistopreparetestcasesandperformtestingoftheproduct/platform/solutiontobedeployedataclientendandensureitsmeet 100%qualityassuranceparameters.

Do
•
Instrumentalinunderstandingthetestrequirementsandtestcasedesignoftheproduct
• Authoringtestplanningwithappropriateknowledgeonbusinessrequirementsandcorrespondingtestablerequirements

• Implementation of Wipro'swayoftestingusing Modelbasedtestingandachievingefficientwayoftestgeneration

• Ensuringthetestcasesarepeerreviewedandachievinglessrework

• Workwithdevelopmentteamtoidentifyandcapturetestcases, ensureversion

• Settingthecriteria, parameters, scope/out-scopeoftestingandinvolve in UAT(User Acceptance Testing)

• Automatethetestlifecycleprocessattheappropriatestagesthroughvbmacros, scheduling, GUIautomationetc

•
Todesignandexecutetheautomationframeworkandreporting
• Developandautomatetestsforsoftwarevalidationbysettingupoftestenvironments, designingtestplans, developingtestcases/scenarios/usagecases, andexecutingthesecases

• Ensurethetestdefectsraisedareasperthenormdefinedforproject/program/accountwithcleardescriptionandreplicationpatterns

• Detectbugissuesandpreparefiledefectreportsandreporttestprogress

• Noinstancesofrejection/slippageofdeliveredworkitemsandtheyarewithin the Wipro/Customer SLA'sandnorms

• Designandtimelyreleaseofteststatusdashboardattheendofeverycycletestexecutiontothestakeholders

• Providingfeedbackonusabilityandserviceability, tracetheresulttoqualityriskandreportittoconcernedstakeholders

•
Status Reporting and Customer Focusonanongoingbasiswithrespecttotestinganditsexecution
• Ensuregoodqualityofinteractionwithcustomerw.r.t.e-mailcontent, faultreporttracking, voicecalls, businessetiquetteetc

• Ontimedeliveries-WSRs, Testexecutionreportandrelevantdashboardupdates in Testmanagementrepository

• Updatesofaccurateeffortsine Cube, TMSandotherprojectrelatedtrackers

• Timely Responsetocustomerrequestsandnoinstancesofcomplaintseitherinternallyorexternally
