At BharatRohan, we’re building technology at the intersection of Agriculture × Drones × Data × Software to help transform how agricultural decisions are made.
We’re looking for a Software Developer Intern to join our team in Gurugram for a 3–6 month internship.
👨💻 WHAT YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll get hands-on experience working on real-world products and production systems across:
MERN | Native | Cloud | Linux | Git
⭐ MUST HAVE — ONE OF THESE SPECIALIZATIONS
In addition to the core software development skills, candidates should have basic knowledge in at least ONE of the following areas:
🛒 E-commerce / Shopify
Basic understanding of Shopify and its ecosystem
Familiarity with JavaScript-based Shopify development
Understanding of e-commerce workflows and integrations
OR
⚙️ Embedded Systems
Basic knowledge of C or C++
Understanding of programming for embedded systems
Familiarity with UART / USB / TCP / UDP or similar communication protocols
Basic understanding of how software communicates with hardware/electronic devices

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a strong foundation in JavaScript & ES6+
• Understands the MERN Stack
• Has basic knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Is comfortable with Linux/Ubuntu fundamentals
• Understands Git & Git-based collaboration
• Has basic knowledge of Shopify/E-commerce OR Embedded Systems
• Enjoys debugging, troubleshooting, and solving problems
• Is curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• Wants to build, experiment, and take ownership

Going for the Software Engineer role at BharatRohan? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Revise core data structures and be ready to explain the logic in your best project line by line — interviewers care more about how you reason than which language you used.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
