Sales Intern
🔊 We're hiring our first Sales Intern.
Not to fetch coffee. Not to shadow silently in meetings. To sit next to our VP Sales and learn how B2B sales is done - real calls, real objections, real value-selling, from week one.
HireWise is building India's most trusted and curated platform for senior, fractional talent - connecting growing startups and SMEs with experts they couldn't otherwise hire full-time. The intern will help us accelerate both sides of that equation.
Prior sales experience is helpful but not a must. What we need is hunger, coachability, and someone who wants more than a checkbox on a resume.
📍 Mumbai (north suburbs preferred) · Hybrid, full-time
💰 Fixed + uncapped incentive (performance based)

Interview advice
Going for the Sales role at HireWise? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Expect a role-play: be ready to pitch a product in two minutes and to keep going politely after a "no" — resilience is most of what they are testing.
- Rehearse "tell me about yourself" out loud in about 60 seconds — education, one standout achievement, why this role — instead of reciting your CV top to bottom.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
