Role Overview
They are hiring a hands-on automation engineer/programmer who can:
Develop and test PLC software
Work with industrial automation systems
Support global engineering teams

Work Experience
Programming Skills
You should know at least one of these PLC programming languages:
Ladder Logic (LL) – most common in PLCs
Structured Text (ST) – similar to high-level programming like C
CodeBlocks / similar environments
PLC Hardware & Platforms
Experience with major industrial automation vendors:
Siemens
Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley)
Schneider Electric
or similar systems
Industrial Communication Protocols
You must understand how machines communicate:
Profinet
Profibus
Modbus
EtherNet/IP
Testing & Validation
SIL (Software-in-the-loop) – testing code without hardware
HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) – testing with real hardware setups

Additional Responsibilities
Set up HIL testing environments
Support teams across different countries (remote/global support)
Work on commissioning (deploying automation systems on-site)
Use Git or version control tools for code management
