Operations Intern
🚨 We’re Hiring: Generalist & Ops Intern at Spinny
Hiring a Generalist & Ops Intern for my team at Spinny , and this is one of those internships where you’ll actually get to own things, not just observe them.
You’ll work at the intersection of Operations × Finance x Legal x Business x Tech × Data × AI, solving real problems that directly impact the business.
You’ll get direct exposure to and daily coordination with senior leadership - including SVPs, business heads, functional heads and founders , while working on projects that matter.
Think:
⚡ Vendor Operations - onboarding, KYC, NDAs, MSAs, POs, compliance, contracts and negotiations.
💰 Cost & Data — tracking 200+ vendors, analysing consumption through SQL, reconciling invoices, finding billing gaps and building cost models.
🤖 AI & Automation — using LLMs to review contracts, compare clauses, automate repetitive work and build internal workflows instead of doing things manually.
📊 Business Operations — understanding how decisions are made, how costs move, how vendors are managed and how technology actually gets operated at scale.
This is a 3 + 3 month internship, with a PPO based on performance.

P.S. If you’re looking for an internship where your biggest takeaway is “I attended meetings,” this probably isn’t for you. If you want to leave six months later saying “I actually built, negotiated, analysed and fixed things” - let’s talk.

Interview advice
Going for the Operations role at Spinny? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Have one example ready where you brought order to chaos — a process you organised or a bottleneck you fixed, with the result.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
- Use STAR for "tell me about a time" questions — Situation, Task, Action, Result — so your story stays clear and short.
- Keep answers tight and on-point; avoid rambling or personal topics like religion, politics, relationships or family.
