Hiring: MERN Full Stack Intern
Work Location: Offline Preferred (Chennai)
Stipend: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month
Requirements:
Strong fundamentals in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, React Native & Node.js
Ability to build and ship projects on both Mobile and Web apps.
Good understanding of APIs, databases, and deployment
Should be good at AI-assisted development / vibe coding
But here’s the catch,
We don’t build apps using vibe coding alone. We use AI to move faster, not to replace thinking.
We’re looking for someone who understands, Why the code works. Not just how to generate it

Going for the Software Engineer role at Makers Tribe? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Revise core data structures and be ready to explain the logic in your best project line by line — interviewers care more about how you reason than which language you used.
- Rehearse "tell me about yourself" out loud in about 60 seconds — education, one standout achievement, why this role — instead of reciting your CV top to bottom.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
