Brief Description/Job Summary:
The GCCVadodaracampusisseekingtohireahighlymotivated Mechanical Engineertojoin our RDteam at Xylem GCCVadodara. Theroleisidealforfreshgraduatesorprofessionalswithup to 0-2 yearsofexperienceinmechanical CADdesign. Theselectedcandidatewillberesponsibleforcreatingandmodifyingdetailed 2 D/3 Dmodelsandengineeringdrawingsusing Creo, orsimilar CADtools, supportingglobalproductdevelopmentanddesignengineeringteams.
Wearelookingforindividualswithstrongcommunicationskillsandafoundationalknowledgeofmechanicalengineering, whoareeagertolearn, collaborate, andgrow.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
• Createandupdate 3 Dmodels, 2 Ddrawings, assemblies, and BOMsusing Creo.

• Designmechanicalcomponentsandwater-relatedsystems(e.g., pumps, submersiblemixers, valves, piping).

• Performbasicmechanicalcalculations

• Collaboratewithglobalteamstomeetdesignrequirementsanddeadlines.

• Ensurecompliancewithengineeringstandards, GDT, anddocumentationprotocols.

• Managedrawingrevisionsandengineeringchangesvi a Windchill

• Participateindesignreviewsandsuggestcost-effectiveimprovements.

Must Have Competencies:
• Experience Level: 02 yearsofrelevant CADdesignexperience.

• Proficiency in Creoishighlypreferred.

• Knowledge of GDT, manufacturingprocesseslikecasting, sheetmetalfabrication, plastic, rubberandmechanicaldraftingstandards.

• Strongproblem-solvingandcollaborationskillswitheffectivecommunication in Englishisamust.

Good to Have Competencies:
• Hands-onexperienceoracademicprojectexposureinproductdesignandprocessdevelopment.

• Practicalworkingknowledge of Creo(Parametric)f or 3 Dmodellinganddesign.

• Proficiency in Au to CADf or 2 Ddrafting and GAdrawings.

• Basicunderstandingofwater-relatedsystems, includingpumps, submersiblemixers, valves, andpipingnetworks.

• Familiaritywithwastewatertreatmentprocesses, alongwithapplication-levelknowledge.

• Knowledgeofgearboxdesignandengineeringcalculations.

• Awareness of AIautomationtoolsandproficiencyinleveraging AIforengineeringtasksandprocessoptimization.

• Proficiency in Datatoolslike Python and Power BIisanaddedadvantage.

Qualifications:
• B. Tech./BEin Mechanicalengineering or Higher.
