Human Resources Internship

Day 42. Same room. Same laptop. Completely different person than Day 1.

No panic when I opened my laptop today.
Just work.
That shift? That's the internship doing its job.

Here's what the day looked like —

📌 Screened applications for 3 open roles at ACC
One candidate had a career break.
Easy to skip on paper.
On the call? Sharpest person I'd spoken to all week.
The resume is just the door.

📌 Answered a new intern's query today
They asked me something I had literally Googled on Day 6.
I answered confidently. Calmly. Professionally.
Then I muted myself and screamed a little.
Growth does that to you.

📌 Planned this week's content calendar
Wrote the same hook four times before it felt right.
Good content doesn't come fast.
It comes from caring enough to try again.

📌 Updated the recruitment pipeline tracker
Unglamorous. Necessary.
Clean data = better decisions.
That's it.

Nobody tells you WFH interning is its own kind of hard.
You figure it out alone.
And quietly — that builds something real.

Resourcefulness.
Ownership.
Confidence.

42 days in, I don't just feel like an intern learning the work.
I feel like someone who does the work.
