Looking for an internship opportunity right now? We are looking for HR interns at our NGO organisation, Pehchaan The Street School. So, here are the details you need:
You have the motivation to do social work, and your vision aligns with our organisation’s.
You want to learn and are ready to be flexible across our hiring and onboarding processes. No specific degree or qualification is mandatory.
You will play a key role in bringing exceptional people into our organisation while building your own resume with hands-on HR experience.
You will learn about the inner workings of an NGO and gain experience working with us by creating real impact for our students.
You will receive an internship certificate upon completion of your tenure and a letter of recommendation for extraordinary performance and contribution to the cause.
This is an unpaid internship available for 1, 3, or 6 months.

Interview advice
Going for this role at Pehchaan The Street School? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Before you go in, list the top three things this job asks for and prepare one concrete example for each — then tie every answer back to them.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
