Human Resources Intern
We’re hiring an HR Intern at Passionfruit!!
I’m currently a one woman army handling HR for a team of ~90, which means there’s a lot happening; hiring, onboarding, HR ops, employee experience, policies, and everything in between.
We are looking for someone who can come in, learn fast, take ownership, and eventually grow into a full-time HR role with us.
This is a 3-month internship, with a PPO for the right person.
I’m NOT looking for someone who just wants an internship certificate or needs to be told what to do at every step, but instead
I AM looking for someone who is:
Sharp and curious: you ask “why?” before blindly following a process
Great at communication: written and verbal
High ownership: if you see something broken, you try to fix it
Fast at learning: you’re comfortable figuring things out yourself
People-oriented but also comfortable working with data, processes and spreadsheets
Energetic and ambitious: you want to build, not just execute
Comfortable in a fast-moving startup where priorities can change quickly
What you’ll get to work on:
Hiring | HR Operations | Employee Engagement | Onboarding | Policies & Processes | HR Projects | Culture
And yes, you’ll get to work closely with me and see what building HR from the ground up actually looks like.
Think you’re a fit?
Skip the CV for now.
Just fill out the form below. We’re more interested in how you think, communicate and approach problems than in a one-page CV.
If your answers stand out, we’ll reach out:))

Interview advice
Going for this role at Passionfruit? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Before you go in, list the top three things this job asks for and prepare one concrete example for each — then tie every answer back to them.
- Rehearse "tell me about yourself" out loud in about 60 seconds — education, one standout achievement, why this role — instead of reciting your CV top to bottom.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
