What you'll do:
✨ Create engaging static creatives for social media, email campaigns, and digital platforms
✨ Support the design team in developing creative marketing assets
✨ Research the latest design trends and audience preferences
✨ Ensure timely delivery of assigned design tasks
What we're looking for:
. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma
. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail
. Understanding of social media design formats and digital content
. Willingness to learn, take feedback, and collaborate with a team

Interview advice
Going for the Design role at The Starter Labs? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Your portfolio is the interview: be ready to walk through one project as a story — the problem, the choices you made, and the outcome, not just the visuals.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
