What You'll Do
🔹 Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources
🔹 Build interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools
🔹 Identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights
🔹 Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently
🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making
🔹 Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reports
🔹 Present findings in a clear and impactful manner to stakeholders
What We're Looking For
✅ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (2024/2025/2026 graduates welcome)
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
✅ Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (any one)
✅ Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus
✅ Understanding of statistics, data cleaning, and reporting concepts
✅ Strong communication skills and a passion for learning

Interview advice
Going for the Data Analyst role at Diya Patel? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Brush up SQL joins and aggregations, and be ready to walk one analysis end to end: the question you asked, the data you used, and what you found.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
