Community & Operations Intern
We’re hiring: Community & Operations Intern
Letters from a Better Place is growing, and we’re looking for a thoughtful, organised and kind Community & Operations Intern to grow alongside us. You’ll work closely with me across community growth and coordination, experience production, partnerships, expansion, operations and event documentation—while gaining hands-on insight into how an independent community-led brand is built, nurtured and taken into new spaces and cities. Kindness and emotional intelligence are essential to this role.
This is a paid, three-month, part-time internship based in Mumbai, with a hybrid working model and selected weekend commitments.
If this sounds like you—or someone you know—we’d love to hear from you.

Interview advice
Going for the Operations role at Letters from a Better Place? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Have one example ready where you brought order to chaos — a process you organised or a bottleneck you fixed, with the result.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
- Use STAR for "tell me about a time" questions — Situation, Task, Action, Result — so your story stays clear and short.
- Keep answers tight and on-point; avoid rambling or personal topics like religion, politics, relationships or family.
- Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early (not an hour), and carry a printed CV, a valid ID and any certificates.
