The Business Financefunctionisresponsiblefortheproductionofbusinesslevelrevenueattribution, financialaccountingandfinancialdisclosures. Itensures, onadailybasis, theaccurateandtimelyreporting of Profit and Loss(Pn L)foreachbusinessunitandensuresthatthedriversbehindtheriskpositions and Pn Larefullyunderstoodandexplained. Italsoensuresthatallof the Bankstransactionsandpositionsarecorrectlyreflectedin the Banksaccountingrecordsanddisclosures, inaccordancewithrelevantaccountingstandards.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Responsiblefortheaccurateandtimelyproductionofdaily T+1 P&Lproduction, attributionandanalysis.
- Providingdailycommentaryandvarianceinvestigation to Front Officetradersandseni or Financemanagers
- Breakinvestigationandresolution: Modelvs Actual(Ledger)Cash, FO/MOsystemvstradedocsetc
- Modelriskcontrolexceptionsresolution
- Ensurecompliancetoriskandcontrolguidelines.
- Stakeholdermanagementbypromptresponsetovariousqueries/issues from Financedirectors, onshoremanagement, Frontofficetraders, Fincon, Riskmanagement, etc.
- Understandtradeflows, bookingstructuresandensurethatthetradesarecapturedinaccordancewithsuchdefinedstructurewhichwillenableaccuratefundingcostallocationthrough Fundstransferpricing.
- Postproductappropriatejournals
- Ensurethatthefinancialsincomestatementandbalancesheetisaccurate.
- Observeallcontrolslikereconciliationssuc has Management Accountingvs Financial Accounting, Front Officevs Back Office, Balance Sheetsubstantiationetc.
- Runningcallswithstakeholders
- Addressingauditandregulatoryrequirements.
Yourskillsandexperience
• Financial Controlandproductcontrolexperience in Investment Banking
- Strongunderstandingoffinancialmarketproductssuc has Loans, Bonds, Credit, derivatives, Cash Equity, Swaps, Options and Futures.
- Solid Fixed Incomeproductknowledgei.e. Bonds, CDS, TRS, IRS&Loans.
- IFRS/GAAPknowledgeispreferred
- Strongknowledge/experienceoffronttoback Investment Bankingenvironment(tradecapturetobalancesheet)
- Abilitytomanagetimeeffectively, prioritizesresponsibilities, andescalatesissuesasnecessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Officeapplications, strong Word and Excelskillsrequired
- Exposuretomultiplefrontofficesystems.
Education:
• P referablyqualified MBA/Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA.
