We're building an AI-first analytics platform that answers business questions directly - no dashboards, just answers. That means your code's correctness is the product.
You'll work on:
- Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Write and optimize SQL queries against BigQuery
- Learn and apply MCP (Model Context Protocol) to integrate APIs with AI agents
- Contribute to clear, well-designed API contracts
- Work within an Agile framework alongside the product and data teams
You should be:
- Strong fundamentals in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and independently
- A strong focus on correctness, attention to detail, and clean design

Going for the Software Engineer role at Hector? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
