We’re looking for passionate Automotive Product Design Engineers with experience in BIW, Door Systems, Seating Systems, and Front & Rear Body Design.
Key Skills:
✅ CATIA V5 (Mandatory)
✅ BIW Product Design
✅ Door & Seating System Design
✅ Front & Rear Body Panel Design
✅ Sheet Metal Design
✅ Assembly Design
✅ GD&T & Tolerance Stack-up
✅ DFM/DFA & BOM Preparation
✅ Engineering Drawings
✅ ECN/ECR Management
Qualification:
🎓 B.E./B.Tech/Diploma – Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or related discipline.
⭐ Experience with Automotive OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers (Mercedes-Benz, Daimler, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Volkswagen, BMW, Volvo, Renault-Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Going for the Design role at Rainbow Technologies? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Your portfolio is the interview: be ready to walk through one project as a story — the problem, the choices you made, and the outcome, not just the visuals.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
